Have you ever done something stupid?

I HAVE, and not just once either! This morning I was taking the trash to the dump, so I was tying the garbage bags up (which smelled of 3 week old crabs, by this time I was immune to the stench). While looking for garbage I see a 10 foot branch in the garage; since the doors were closed through out the night, it must have been REALLY windy. So I was being responsible and took it out. I was going to throw it into the bushes javelin style; but half way in my wind-up I decide that it wasn't going to make it over the bushes so I spun it like a boomerang (what do you call a boomerang that doesn't come back? A STICK, hehehe). As I release, I watch it and then THWACK, the freeking thing was so long that it hit me right in the temple. Some how it got my finger too. I looked around, rubbing my forehead, to make sure that nobody saw what happened; then I laughed at my stupidity. My temple still kinda hurts four hours later, an idiot reminder.
