Weekend of Shows

And not the fun, ooo la la shows, I'm talking about dirty punk! I don't know why it would be classified as dirty; but let me tell you, IT AIN'T CLEAN! Ummmmm, yeah, don't know where I was going with that one.

So this past weekend was awesome. I went to the Green Day concert at SBC Park where the Giants play. They sold that thing out, definitely more people in the stands that the Giants could ever wish for this season. Plus all the people on the field. It was huge, but the show was way short. It started at 8 and was over by 11. Green Day was only on for an hour, it was a really good hour though. They played that shout song that Will Ferral makes fun of, "AND A LITTLE BIT SOFTER NOW, AND A LITTLE BIT SOFTER NOW"; that was good. Whenever I hear that song I think of Jeff's girlfriend Katie; she sang it to me when I didn't recognize it. So I started cracking up at the concert when they played that. The 30 year old chicks behind us were digging Double Down, but fuck, who doesn't. Green Day also played "We Are The Champions"; I'm still confused on that one. Then they brought random people in the crowd to play Burnout or one of the easy songs from 'Dookie'. So really the real band only played like 30 min of their original material by the original band. Whatever, it was still cool.

After that we went to the Love Parade after party. Lot's of hot chicks (all with dudes), then more dudes randomly around. Pretty big sausagefest, but good music. Justin and I did two or three absenthe shots over the day and that kept us pretty wasted with the regular intake of beers.

So it was a good weekend. Other than that, we went out friday night. It was a really wierd random night. Going to random parties. Then, no booze at the party. When asked for a drink I was handed, Johnny Walker Red Lable; in a paper cup, straight. It was rough and I "left" it somewhere.

Tonight Less Than Jake are playing in the city. I'm so fucking pumped! It's gonna be rad. I was just reading about it and their website and newsletter (yes, I am that big of a dork) say they'll be playing stuff from the new record. That gives me a "boner", but I doubt I'll see any poopers. So the show should be rad, getting obliterated at my house before hand. Rolling in wasted and drinking more at the show, such a hard life. Well it will be when I'm hung over tomorrow.

Good Smells

"Dustin, your apartment smells so nice. What is it?"
"Umm, I think it's the pot"
"Really? It smells good, like a popori" She smells the grinder. "Wow, it's really nice"
Does beer do this? I think not!!!!!

Attention, To all of you calling for help, I really don't give a shit

Look, all of you people calling for customer support. I really don't care about you or the company. I'm not going to sit here and bend over backwards to get your fucking ten bucks, it ain't worth it. I don't get paid for this shit, so the more you complain, the slower I go. This has been an announcement, that is all.

The weekend of the 'ustin's!

Of course all you non-ustin's are way green with envy. I still want to make a shirt for both of us that says "I'm with 'ustin" and an arrow pointing to the ustin to your right or left. Apparently Justin already has a fan club. I don't, but that's ok, I'm the envy of everybody in his fan club since I live with him. So I'd get a few groupies that Justin couldn't handle. But I think the 'ustin clothing line would be rad!

This weekend was money, nice and relaxing. A lot of time with the penthouse pet. Got my shower fixed so it doesn't leak a steady stream of warm water...hrm didn't sound good. Then I took out the bush in front of my house (DON'T MESS WITH ME, not a fan of the unkempt bush). I had to take it out, the bush was getting up all over the sidewalk. It was just way too frothy. So the ground is bare, just like a 10 year old's...won't go there.

Yagi and his brother, um, Yagi; came to SF for the Giants Game on Saturday. Yagi texted me that he was at the Giants game, "I was like, cool, are they in San Diego"; no SBC. It wouldn't be Yagi if he didn't tell me he was here, after he'd been here for a day :) But it was cool to hang out with him and Chris, showed them some damn good pizza, delievered of course, and had a few rounds with the pet, naturally. It was great. Just like old times when we lived together. Except we weren't stewing in filth that was called our living room.

I went shopping for the greatest person on earth, ME! I got a shirt and jeans. But now that I got some "warmer" clothes, the sun is out now so I can't bust them out. But fuck, I'll take the sun for as long as I can get it. So it's a nice day here, surprisingly. We should be getting a lot more sun now, being fall time and all. So this is the time to see the Bay Area, for all of you that are thinking of a nice time of year to come up and visit the Penthouse!

Of course there was much pool played, as always. I liked not going to bars this weekend. It saves them, if I go all the time they loose their appeal. I wonder if we'll stay in next weekend. Oooo, a week from wed is Less Than Jake, I'm so pumped for that show!!!

Good Times

I forgot to put in my blog that Andy and Eric have both come up to visit me recently. Also Mike came up a while ago, but I think I wrote about that.

Eric came up and stayed a Saturday with his girlfriend and then we went out on a driving tour of the city. It was a lot of fun. It was the weekend of my parents anniversary too. So it was a packed weekend and I don't remember a lot of it. Mostly just running around to meet up with the parents, entertaining them and then meeting up with Eric and Christine at a bar with Justin, Shannon and Karen. It was good to see him. He's doing well with medschool and I give him mad props for that.

Andy came down and we had a little shin-dig. It was a lot of fun. Like always, the people that I expect to come, don't; and the people I didn't know that heard of it, came. It was a good crowd and a lot of fun. Not too big, but I don't want random people in my place. Like 20-30 people. I know we did a good job on the keg, less than a fourth of it left. And the cops only came once, at one in the morning to tell us to turn down the radio because we had the window's open. Since it was smaller, it was an easy party to quiet down; just closed the windows! And unlike Irvine, they didn't wait to see people walking out either! We had a keg of Stella Artois, it was so good but I kept on loosing my beer. I didn't care, I just kept on getting new ones. I knew the keg wouldn't be dusted.

When the cops came they rang the buzzard and wasted Justin was like, "who is it?"
"the police"
"yeah right", (not believing her), "you wanna come up?"
"you better come down here"
He did, and he was glad. So, SF, way better than Irvine just on that fact! :) The cop was a black chick with dreads. How rad is that! I love chicks with dreads. I bet if she came up and smelled the skunk, she would have taken a hit and gotten a little freaky!

This is going to be the weekend of 'Ustin! No going out, no spending money for anyone or on anybody else but USTIN'S!!!! It's kinda like roomate day that 1332 had, but you know, not as pretensious and a whole weekend long! And if people want to hang out with us that's cool too, we're not excluding anybody, just not spending money :) Seriously tho, I'm tired of going out and spending money when I have all this booze at home. Plus hanging with the Penthouse Pet is just all I want to do.

Trucker Hat's are still around?

I saw a trucker hat tonight, at a bar. Before I thought drink, I looked around and realized that even if I yelled out drink; nobody would know what I was talking about. The next drink was, bitter...

rules for dining at a resturant

well the company makes the meal at a resturant.
alcohol makes the company more enjoyable.
so it really stems from the company you're with. I mean if the food is good and the booze is good but the company sucks, the meal isn't going to be good.
in importance it ranks
company>booze>food
but if the company is bad
company=not good times
then the company is only as good as the booze injested, booze exponentionally helps the company
company^(boozeth power)
but if you're by yourself, the company is as good as it can get so all you need to know
booze+food=fun! :)
